And I really think I will, essentially, for the Bacon Chicharon. Before I get too excited about it though, I would like to commend the brilliant brain behind quoting Joss Whedon and putting it beside your [amazing] door for everyone to read and see.

I have a soft spot for succulents because I have a friend who had it as her flowers on her wedding day. Pretty neat stuff.

We came in a little before 1 in the afternoon thinking lunch crowd has already subsided by the time we come in. True enough, we were the second group of people inside. So it's quite baffling for us how our orders took quite a while to get into our table. Buti na lang we are really, really patient people.

The first of our ourders to arrive was the Bacon Chicharon. I was really surprised to find out that the bacon strips were HUGE. Crispiliciously huge! We were so hungry we ate them without any rice nor bread but saved some til the rest of our orders come.

Ayun, merong isa't kalahating piraso ng Bacon Chicharon ang natira (we summoned all our strength not to finish all of it yet!) by the time Summer Grilled Pork Chop and Guinness Chili arrived.

Bacon Chicharon. PhP315

Summer Grilled Pork Chop. Pineapple and soy barbecue sauce, mixed greens, coriander garlic rice. PhP 495.00.

Guinness Chili. USDA Angus brisket simmered in Guinness Beer, red and white beans, raclette, herbed sour cream PhP 495.00

I loved the rice included in the Summer Grilled Pork Chop, it was different. I wonder what they did or added to make it that good. Guinness Chili was also good, they didn't scrimp on the Angus brisket plus we were certain that this was really straight from the, erm, pot? cos it was still super hot!

It was the Halloween weekend on BGC and almost all of the restaurants and establishments were participating on giving treats to kids. Our patience on waiting for our food earlier paid off because when we asked the waiters if we can also go trick or treating on them, they wholeheartedly obliged.
